@plankton88: Interesting that you're very disappointed in the little things. If you're more interested in playing music while gaming and a fancy menu you could've gotten an Xbox? I think once you dig into more exclusives and dig around the internet for 3rd party apps, you'll forget about it and really enjoy its…
Sandy Bridge *shudder*
I'm too broke to hoard games and I'm a big gamer. I just got out of college and during college it was hard times... New game and mac and cheese for a week? Or trade in/sell on craigslist 3 old games for a new one? I seriously have maybe 3 PS3 games right now. Steam, that's another story.
"Remember Games Are Made By People"
Vagrant story. AWESOME.
Damnit. That's annoying. I just bought Runmeter for iPhone YESTERDAY. I was willing to give RunKeeper a try but I wanted an all inclusive iPhone only app, and I was turned off by some of the recent reviews.
Cheaters, spammers, joy killers, they're all the same and I always try to not let it get to me. Noob t00bers in MW2 you couldn't do anything about, you move to a server where they aren't allowed. I've gotten people on my side to report cheaters and abandon servers online, yeah it sucks, but if the cheaters don't have…
@eriaa: Yeah, the bump to $60 from $50 for PC games was a disappointment, I think Activision was the first to get the balls to do it to us PC gamers (Like you said with MW2). Unfortunately, a lot of others are following. But then again, as someone in the industry, there is tons of complexity behind "making better…
I feel that the gap is slowly fading. Not because games for consoles are getting better. But because of what the Crysis developers are saying... Too much scaling down. I remember years ago I was always into getting the BEST graphics card and FASTEST processor just to play the next badass game. It's rare that you see…
@sneakypoo: Son of a bitch! You just reminded me. Well, here goes to another year of terrible images.
@njdevil misses the old days: LOL This made me laugh super hard. I've never seen that gif before
@Golgari: Well I can't argue with you on Uncharted, hands down one of the best games I've played though I don't know how "historically" accurate it might be. Unfortunately when it comes to cookie cutter series like CoD, it looks like they take shortcuts and make sure their fancy effects and scripted events look cooler…
@Golgari: I don't know about you, but when I play game I love to just immerse myself and just pretend everything is the way I'm supposed to be. You just gotta suspend disbelief to enjoy entertainment sometimes (games, movies, and books alike). I'm not exactly one for history but interesting Kotaku article.
I actually find this pretty cool. Maybe if it was in some sort of acrylic shelf or something, it would look a bit neater, but I guess that would technically be a case.
@MaWeiTao: My question is, what kind of other first person shooters are there? Sure you can do zombies... Aliens (Still comes down to some sort of sci-fi military usually)... Demons from hell?
@KryptonZero: Yeah I've done my research now. I actually bought this $2 HDMI cable on amazon.com that had great reviews and it's great (its a short 3 foot cable I believe). I don't buy from monster anymore. I used to buy them for my music gear, but the difference is negligible if audible at all. But then again, analog…
Again, I think it's funny how many people complain about bugs. Yes, it is one of the more buggier games I have played. But do people realize the complexity level of the possibilities? If you check the wiki, each mission practically has 2-5 bugs, yeah. Maybe they should've have allocated more money and time to the QA…
I though this was a joke at first.
