I can’t imagine that parts for this are hard to find. I can still easily find parts for my 21 year old saab, and it’s not outrageously expensive either. I just spent $99 on: front brake rotors, poly swaybar endlink bushings, poly LCA bushings, and a gas cap. That’s post tax/shipping.

Similarly, the guy with the highest standing mile Saab record (vigge, over 300kph) uses shitty tires and the stock open diff as a fuse for the trans. Seems backwards but a big turbo b234/5 will do over 500lb-ft easily, and a fwd saab trans to survive that doesn’t really exist.
