Can confirm. There was a really interesting thread on fitfreak.net, of all places, where tuners were talking fuel trims and timing, and the adjustments the stock ecu would make when toluene was added to the tank. I can’t remember the numbers, but they were getting a good bit of advance from that.

A few corrections, as another owner of a 94 9000 aero... That’s the stock turbo, he just increased the boost pressure with a tune. When he says larger turbo, that’s because the aero came with a td04hl-15t-6, and the regular 9000’s, and auto 9000’s, had a garett t25.
Easy: 94-98 Saab 9000. The difference between the base cs model’s b234l and the faster aero model b234r is a turbo swap (garrett t25 -> mitsu td04hl-15t), injectors, and tune. Takes you from 170-225hp, on the stock tune. Taking that turbo to it’s limits with a better exhaust, intercooler, and more boost gets you to…
