I'm training for my first half-marathon in September. I pulled my hamstring in December last year, and it's still bothering me. I can still run so it's just a slight pull, but it does slow me a bit and I can feel it throbbing slightly when I'm sitting. I know about R-I-C-E, but I really don't want to rest and miss

I agree with listening to something other than music. I love listening to audiobooks. Music is more subconscious for me, and I still end up focusing on the run, which tends to fatigue me worse. With audiobooks (or podcasts), I have to focus on the subject matter, thereby making the miles seem to float by as an

That was my first thought too. James Bond wouldn't be able to fight any bad guys.

I agree with people asking to include Skydrive. We should also throw Sugarsync and Box into the mix too. Comparing only Dropbox and Drive is only showing what Lifehacker staff prefers (Dropbox and Google). I personally use Sugarsync as I can choose which folders get synced without having to have all of my folders

I haven't tried with the very newest version, but you could force enable extensions during previous FF iterations. Here's an old article from Lifehacker on how to do it:

If this site takes your data and anonymizes it, what happens to the rewards associated with the cards? For example, when you spend X dollars at a Best Buy, they credit your Reward Zone card and you get Y dollars in rewards (or something that makes it worthwhile to give up your info). That credit is going somewhere,

I agree with the wet hand technique. I've tried about every commercial option at the pet store. I've also used the rubber glove technique too, but the best I've found is simply getting my hand a little damp.

I agree with using Road ID. I've used the wristband and the dog tag version. They also sell a velcro pouch that attaches to your shoelaces if you want to carry money, drivers license, etc.

I can only imagine what happens when I strong wind blows your tie over your shoulder. Your money could be 1/2 a block away before you get turned around to run after it. Bad idea.

I find this ironic on Lifehacker, at least with my Firefox setup. If I enable AdBlock Plus for lifehacker.com, the site no longer works. When I disable it for lifehacker.com, it works again.

The "average" sounds like it could screw you up. Just because you were averaging less than the speed limit doesn't mean you weren't going faster at some point. Good luck.

I completely agree. The less evidence, the better.

I finally figured out why it wasn't working on Firefox for me. I have Adblock Plus enabled. Once I disabled it, it would open. I went through and disabled all setting on Adblock dealing with Lifehacker (I found 3). Now Lifehacker works. Apparently I'm obligated to see the ads, even though I'm fairly sure

@tsukata001: It's not just you. Oh well. Hopefully I remember to check tonight.

@Henrik Johansson: I agree that once you get used to it, you'll never want to search without it. It works fine for 3.5.3 like gopanthers said.

    VOTE: Adobe Reader

I hate waiting. I'm going crazy refreshing my email accounts. My girlfriend doesn't seem too concerned. Actually, she is concerned, but it's more about why I care about it at all. Oh, to be as tech-naive as her...

Don't tell Kevin Purdy about the Google Translate piece missing the full-post cut. I think you're going to hurt his feelings since he was up at 6:00am to post it.
