Really disappointing finale after Pamela pt. 1. I kept waiting for the show to reveal that this was all a dream and Pamela instead shot him down. It really seemed like Louis was planning on doing something interesting with this arc and it's a damn shame that it played out in the least interesting way possible.

Well liked is a pretty strong description of the new album, I'd say his stuff is still pretty divisive. 66 score on Metacritic is pretty average with 14 positive and 10 negative.
