Maybe we should’ve listened to those people.
Maybe we should’ve listened to those people.
Horrendous decision-making skills.
lol at The Last Jedi, Logan Lucky, or John Wick 2 over Blader Runner 2049. I can only assume you voted for Trump. Nothing else would explain such atrocity.
People only like the Last Jedi because it has an after school level message that fits their ideology. The movie is on the same level as the prequels, and will be viewed as such in the near future. (not counting visuals, its much better than the prequels there)
Blade Runner absolutely deserves a spot over The Last Jedi, but TLJ pandered to progressively-minded audiences and critics. Blade Runner was a better film, but got flack for having a “problematic” depiction of women (nevermind it being set in a dystopia)
I saw both TLJ and BR2049 twice. I love both, but BR2049 is the film of the year for me still.
At least half this list makes me intensely dislike my fellow film school grads. Such arthouse wankery.
Also weird that it was beaten by Star Wars, which came out four decades ago.
Blade Runner 2049 is a thousand times the movie TLj is, but it’s def an art film, as was the original.
Take out Dunkirk, maybe TLJ (which I did like) and put in Blade Runner. This list seriously lacks in the Blade Runner department!
Please watch Blade Runner 2049-it’s excellent.
There is no way Blade Runner 2049 should have been omitted from this list.
Do you know the oldest lie in the galaxy, Senator? Jedis don’t come from hell beneath us. They come from the sky.
Wha happened to Blade Runner 2049, I really don’t get how star wars is in this list, but not blade runner 🤔, being a fan of both I think blade runner actually was a better movie by itself
But that’s not what he did. He expressed his opinion in a comments section, the purpose of such a place.
Yeah, I would have thought that at least beat out Last Jedi.
I don’t understand the accolades for JOHN WICK 2 and BABY DRIVER, which don’t hold up on second viewings once the hype and thrill of their potential dissipates. Especially with so many other, better, films out this year. To that end, thanks for not including the better-than-its-colleagues-but-overall-not-astounding…
No Blade Runner 2049?
The only surprise to me is that Wonder Woman did not make the cut. It does get a mention in the beginning and was not among the favorites of the regular contributors. Figured it would be hanging somewhere around Logan on this list. BladeRunner 2049 was one of my favorites. It received an honorary mention in the…
On a show where everyone is pretty morose most of the time, I found Preppy Pete's douchiness somewhat welcome.
