How do app store purchases work if there are multiple users on one mac? Are the apps available for all the accounts? What if different users login to the app store with different appleids?

@icfan: You can drag and drop from itunes just fine. You can manually manage music on an ipod with it too if you so desire.

iTunes was so so good back then. I still like it just fine, but it has bloated beyond belief.

Hm, I also wonder how this is going to affect the academic software market - will apps like iLife/iWork still be available to students at a discount, or will they stick to a one-price app store model? (Granted, the appstore price is about what the shrinkwrap academic price is anyway...)

How does this work if we have multiple machines? Are app purchases tied to appleid, like on iOS, or are they machine-specific?

Gah, what's up with those obnoxious 'savings of' indicators? They hurt my eyes.

Safari should be on these tests. It would be interesting to see how it compares with Chrome considering they are so similar.

@LeftClicker105: Totally agree, this is a problem with HiveFive in general - the platform with the most users tends to win, even if there's a consensus that something better exists in another ecosystem.

Looks nifty, but it doesn't look like it provides either live-view (like dslr remotepro) or wifi transmission (like an eyefi) - I'd want at least one (preferably both) before I dropped $150 on something like this.

I'd like to see some consistency in what's offered - shows appear and disappear without explanation.

100 megabytes per month? Is it 2001 again or something?

Email?

@FriarNurgle: I like the google voice app for free texting. It's free, has push, and uses my gvoice number.

I like Coda

Oo, I wonder if it will do AirPlay...

Granted that horizontal video is the norm, and what YouTube and its peers generally play, but can't vertical videos play vertically if you use your own playback tool? Sure, most people shooting video on their phones don't much care about making art, but there's gotta be good artistic reasons for wanting vertical

Cancel your sms plan and use gvoice instead

@bazookafox: It shouldn't take anywhere near that long - on my macpro a 2 hour dvd encodes in about 45 minutes.

For those of us who couldn't wait, and used the GM build is there any trick to installing the official release?
