Since Ford is 'Scrooge McDuckin' in cash, offer the feds $500M for the rights to Fisker and then give it to Lincoln. Win-Win-Win!

I might've peaked twice in 05; will have to check my calendar.
Dibs on the M5 drivetrain... E39 swap incoming!
I had a brief affair with a Fuego with the roof; CP.
Not sure, I'm betting the 911 doesn't have launch control like the Lambo's do.
Does it come in white? /I'll see myself out.
Anyone named 'Sweetdik' is ok in my book!
Fantastic to see it end this way; much love to the community for coming together for one of our own.
Wait, how come I've never seen a 'buy 1, get 1' sale?! I'd be all over it.
If you require SR-22 insurance, you may be a bad driver.
Beers on me if you're ever in Cincinnati!
I really like the styling of the 944 over the 924... I can never put my finger on it since the differences are rather subtle. I suspect it's because the nose on the 944 is 'fatter' than the 924.
I finished reading the whole thread and there's WAY too many bullshit discrepancies. What killed me is the color laser printed build sheet (from 1980) where guys who actually own Alpina's of that era show build sheets that were run through a typewriter.
If this was fully documented, it'd be worth it. Since there's some contention (and those BMW Forum guys are rabid about this kind of stuff), it's a CP.
1968 VW Beetle... as I expect many of my aged peers did. More than likely without restraint ;)
Sorry to hear Torch; your writing really showed what this car means to you. I hope it's found quickly and in good shape.
Seems like all the low volume specialty groups like to push their 'halo' car out first. i'm with you on this one.
I learned how to drive a stick in one of these; while that's where the fondness ends, it's still a NP.
BMW wasn't always like this... My E39 has a full sized spare on a matching rim.
Compare it to the flagship sedans from Asian automakers and I think it's actually much nicer looking... Lexus, Infiniti and Acura equals look garish in comparison. The only American competition is Cadillac and the Audi/BMW/Mercedes trifecta costs thousands more for similar performance.
