It was exhausting. Look, the acting was great, the singing was great, but the story flat out sucks. I know that’s not his fault since the story has been around forever, but it’s just straight up not good. The pacing is way off, the story takes time jumps without notice or mention, the characters are irredeemably awful

Yes, people still need some “easy” tv, which they can pop in and out of and not think too hard about. That’s the beauty of a lot of the older sitcoms like Friends and even The Office. If you miss a few episodes, you’re not lost. This is great for people who just don’t have a lot of time to put into watching series

I hear you. I’m paying an exorbitant cost for cable right now, along with Netflix. I’m not quite ready to ditch cable because a lot of shows I like, including local Canadian shows, are nowhere to be found online or on streaming services.

Honestly, even if you don’t particularly care for Miley, what right do you have to suggest her sexuality is anything other than what she says it is?

Just imagine being the other Hemsworth - Luke, who is in Westworld. Poor, poor Luke.

Related: The Good Place did an amazing riff on this where they introduced a character who was an award winning pediatrician/perfect at everything/amazingly good looking, who turned out to be the “disappointing” Hemsworth brother.

I have a friend who met a guy online and went on a bad date with him, and then went on a date with another guy and hit it off... turned out to be brothers. First date ended up standing in their wedding, but even like 6 years later it was awkward.

Lol! Omg.

There are no bad Hemsworths. I’d be gushing too.

You do know that people who use birth control can still get pregnant, right? No form of birth control is 100% effective.

I agree. I was actually a little surprised by Scar’s voice in the preview. But I think after the first scene or two with him it will stop being distracting, lol.

Honestly, all of the live action remakes have been fantastic. The Jungle Book was a revelation for CG filmmaking, and Beauty and the Beast blended the CG and human elements seamlessly. The stories are classic and unchanged, and the visuals are astonishing.

Hey, if they want to focus their ire on someone whose not even running for president, have at it. AOC has big shoulders, she can take it. If anything, their hate makes her more powerful.

Holy crap she looks like Kris Jenner here. All of their plastic surgery is making them indistinguishable from each other.

This is really surprising. Here in Canada men typically have higher rates than women because they tend to have more, and costlier accidents (more high speed/road rage incidents in particular).

I’ve now been in ~four~ accidents caused by men either not paying attention or doing something egregiously stupid.

Ah the age old cop out, “It can’t be that bad for you here, look at how bad it is over there!”

Feminists, LGBT2Q+ and people of colour have been hearing this old crap forever. It’s not new, interesting or enlightening.

Right? Perfect isn’t a complicated song. It’s intention is very clear, and meaningful to a lot of people.

Yes. Especially the men whose homes looked like they were hit by tornados. That goes beyond being a slob or disorganized. It’s a reflection of how they’re feeling.

Karamo is really a life coach, which I agree is probably the most important role in the bunch. They all have important jobs, but Karamo is there to make people take stock of what’s allowed them to get to where they are, and make important changes to how they think about the world and walk through it.

I really do love this show, but I see the point being made here. It would be nice to see them being a little more honest about why men are allowed to become slobs in the next season.

Seems like he was just trying out a cute anecdote and it’s not really something to be upset about?
