I ended up with a Rav4 in Iceland a few months ago. Honeymoon trip included 1,000km with half being gravel (we stayed off the beaten path). I actually felt bad returning it covered in all the mud and had to actually explain that it was just gravel roads to the hotel and not me being a hoon.

Long story short, look at the guaranteed analysis of the diets, regardless of brand.
I believe that the weighing of ingredients is done by what goes into the mixer. So wet or dry ingredients are all added together as a percentage of weight for the total batch then processed. In the case of kibble you lose weight as the product dries (water loss) but the ingredient decks are in order of the formula…
