I’m betting Season 01 is all about the eventual reveal in front of Mark that his dad is not what he said he was. They finally settle their differences in a bloody violent punch out. Ends with his dad flies back to his Viltrium planet.

The opening action scene went from pretty badass to surprisingly dull once it became a CG fest where the helicopters and even the canyon walls all had a plastic texture.

Casting a third person would also have made it immediately clear something was up because IT WASN’T PIETRO!

Plemons also played the son of Philip Seymour Hoffman’s cult leader in The Master.
