why the Mandalorians are supposed to know where Yodas come from?
I am having trouble understanding why the Manadlorians are supposed to know where Yodas come from? I haven’t gone back to watch the first season since it aired so maybe I”m forgetting something.
The show is not subtle and it is rarely clever. There’s no reason to think the Frog Lady is anything other than she seems to be. Her motivation to protect her eggs was obviously legit.
I was utterly shocked by the horrible tone deafness of the “joke” of Baby Yoda eating the eggs. It was disgusting and horrifying.
This episode, while moderately entertaining, was just more proof (as if we needed any) that this series just has zero interest in crafting sophisticated, meaningful story arcs.
So this is the fate of the one they call Olyphant, to roam the great television landscape from show to show to play a role simply known as: Marshal.
I’m watching Enterprise for the first time, into S4. I don’t know what “redeemed over time” means, but it’s definitely the worst of the live action series. Not that it’s bad, but it’s unremittingly beige. In a little over three seasons, there is one standout episode that I would rank with the best of all time, a few…
No.
No. The only way this ep could have been worse would be if they had pulled a BSG and Mother was supposed to be The Literal Eve.
Season 1 of Legion blew me away. I LOVED it. I couldn’t even get past episode 3 of S2. I just could not care. I like all seasons of Fargo. I’m not 100% on board with this season yet, but I trust Hawley as a storyteller, so I’m not ready to bail on it yet.
I think we are all realizing that there is no there, there. No story, no true plot. It started out as a solid story idea... That there was a conflict on Earth, the two conflicting groups destroyed their home, and then sent remnants of their two societies to a new planet, the same planet, to start again... Blah, blah,…
even I have the urge to nitpick the heck out of this show for some reason, yet somehow I never got upset when in Fringe they went NY DC Boston in like five minutes.
If you ever saw him on Vikings, this is the way he plays “weird”. His character’s mannerisms here are a copy/paste of Ragnar from Vikings.
This might just be a me thing, but I finally realized who Campion reminds me of and it's a little odd. He reminds me of Kieran Shipka, oddly a similar tone and something about his eyes and pout.
This episode answers the question of “What happened to the rest of the children?” Mother’s moral framework is pretty fluid. By the way, if she was going to try to stick to her original load out, why didn’t she take 11 kids?
This show is such a disappointment. The first episode was hot shit and had me at 93% full chubb. The second episode I was down to 89% chubb. And each episode after has had diminishing returns that have in turn progressively reduced my chubb. I wish i could say I was even half chub after these episodes. But im not. Im…
“Little Shit: The Origin Story”.
Because I agree father is the best character. Are you only allowed to comment on shows that you think are good? I found this show to be disappointing, but Father was terrific.
Okay.
Couldn’t get past episode 2, but agree that Father is the best character. An android dad who tells dad jokes. Basically the only good idea on the show.
