I’m pretty sure, the way Luke was portrayed in this, he wouldn’t bother to come back as a force ghost anyways, even if he could. Besides, Rey learned to wield and master the force through womens intuition. So there is no need for Luke to appear again.
It made Hux into a clown. If that is they want to treat these movies, then so be it. I know I won’t be watching the next one.
Even Mark Hamill hated it. Sure he is doing the promos and press required with his contract. But you can tell he dislikes it, at least what happened to his own character. It didn’t really kill my childhood as it still has the original movies. What Disney did was make an abortion of a movie with little to no magic. It was an episode of Battlestar Galactica. Not the good seasons, 1 or 2, but the overly stupid last season.
