I didn’t think bot lobbies were a thing but if enough real players have reported & blocked enough hackers (60k!) I could definitely see why the game would use bots to fill up the lobbies faster.

For me, I always had a creeping feeling that Bungie had poor way of respecting the time I was willing to invest in their game (5-10 hours a week since D1, day 1) but I had a good group of friends and I knew that there was always something cool coming every 6 months so I stuck with the game.

After taking a year off, I installed it on my PC and played until I reached the tower. The shear weight of what I would have to wade through just to get back into the game is preventing me from playing any further.
