Pirates isn't a viable franchise in the US anymore, and Alien underperformed. I can easily see Baywatch making $30 million+.

Quick, somebody give Guy Ritchie three more chances to make $100 million+ movies after two huge bombs in a row! He is a white man working in Hollywood, after all.
I've enjoyed the past couple Far Cry games, but Ubisoft has their work cut out for them if they want me to pay $60 to visit Montana.
Same with the episode of Glee dealing with Cory Monteith's death. Regardless of the quality of the show, watching Lea Michele react to her real life boyfriend suddenly dying is beyond heartbreaking.
Fitting to mention Troy McClure in the intro considering Phil Hartman would sadly qualify for this list. I have a somewhat irrational fear of actors dying before my favorite shows can conclude their runs. Maybe it's PTSD from Andy Whitfield passing, though Spartacus recovered nicely from that.
Ira Madison put it best with his article about this season of Scandal being one of Shonda's greatest achievement. A wild and crazy ride from start to finish. I just wish The AV Club could afford culture writers with his level of wit and insight.
I believe he's been transferred to the warmer, less hospitable place down below. I don't think I'll be running into him.
The AV Club hasn't been this breathlessly obsessed with a musical act since Dawes invented that sweet Laurel Canyon sound. I've been taking a drink every time there's a PWR BTTM Newswire and I died a week ago.
Your comment is a very good impression of The AV Club in 2017: bringing Trump into every story, whether it's relevant or not.
Wait a second…this isn't a PWR BTTM update! What kind of Newswire alternate universe did I stumble into?
I avoid spoilers at all costs, but kind of assume John Simm is in the vault? Knowing he's coming back, it's the only thing that seems to make sense.
I gotta say, the idea of Chris Chibnall's Doctor Who fills me with dread. The episodes he's written in the past have all been mediocre, and let's not forget he wrote the "Cyberwoman" episode of Torchwood that was epically bad even for that show. I'm preparing for season 11 to be a shit sandwich, but will be pleasantly…
You got me there. It's impressive how thoroughly the first 5 Leonard movies were wiped from history.
Foxygen, Swans, Pentagram…admit it, you're just making these words up.
This seems like…a bit of overkill based on one unproven sexual assault allegation. Meanwhile, I can still buy Leonard Part 6 on Amazon for some reason.
I haven't watched this one yet, but I hope it's better than last week's terrible "James Olson bonds with a small child" nonsense. This season has been so hit-or-miss that it's giving me whiplash.
Guy Ritchie has made two completely forgettable blockbusters and two huge bombs in recent years. He better watch out. As a white man in Hollywood, he only has 10 more chances to lose hundreds of millions of dollars before they stop hiring him.
Charlie was supposed to be a comedy queen? That's the most shocking thing I've heard about this season so far.
Isn't Zayn the only one with a solo career so far? That kind of makes him the most successful by default.
It is a great song! Hell, I'd go to the mat for nearly all the One Direction singles being great songs. I haven't been interested in their solo stuff, but this review piqued my interest with the Elton John comparison.
