Yes, I guess it is a sports fan mentality, and since I'm not a sports fan it annoys me. Technically, I'm Team Brooke And Shirley, Because Both Deserve It And Gee, It's Awesome To Have Two Women In The Finale. I realize that's a boring stance to take in a competition, but I don't see the need to demonize one contestant

This comment section is…odd. I had no idea so many people dislike Brooke and think her win is some vast conspiracy hatched by Tom. Maybe, just maybe, she cooked better food, and just because you "like" someone more doesn't mean they should win. Anyway, this is a nice reminder to never read the comments.

I didn't think they were building to a Shirley win at all. It was obvious during the meal that Brooke's first two courses were much better than Shirley's, then they tied on the third and Shirley won the dessert. The Brooke win was well deserved.

Something about this review reads very Ebert-esque to me, and that's a very good thing. But it also makes me miss Ebert and the At The Movies show Ignatiy co-hosted.

The only thing settling proves is that a celebrity had an attorney smart enough to know that a protracted legal battle over such a thing is a hopeless cause. The press would have a field day with it, and even if Affleck came out the victor the internet still wouldn't believe him. Nobody with any sense would take these

This is the exact same article Buzzfeed posted about this, and still with no evidence that she "refused" to do anything. Who ripped off whom for this article?

I'm just happy both La La Land and Moonlight won a bunch of Oscars, so now maybe the internet can stop fighting and we can just enjoy two great movies.

Do all of these articles end that way? Because that was some ridiculous 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon shit to connect Milli Vanilli to Altamont.

I think The Flash does a much better job of…well, pretty much everything, but especially cutting loose and having goofy fun. This week's Gorilla City episode was a blast, especially coming after this ep of Supergirl.

Scott Tobias made an argument on Twitter that it's "massively depressing" that a movie lauded at Sundance a month ago is now on Netflix. Personally, I think that's fantastic. Usually I hear about an interesting indie and can't see it for 6-12 months when it pops up on VOD, at which point I may have lost any interest

I always think the reviewer is too hard on this show, which remains my favorite thing on network TV by a mile. Two hours of HTGAWM's intense twists, turns, and convoluted machinations is exhausting, yes, but that's exactly why I love it. The fact that they can go full throttle but still make time for excellent, more

I know this is controversial to say on the constantly bitter internet, but Florence Foster Jenkins is a fun movie and Meryl Streep is really good in it.

I like the current "up to 10" rule the Oscars have adopted, though you can always argue they could nominate better movies. (And no, not a decent-but-forgettable thriller like Green Room.)

This Cress Williams person appears to be a fully grown adult, but this is a CW show. I'm confused.

I almost never willingly listen to music. If I'm commuting, working out, or doing stuff around the house I always listen to podcasts.

I'm not really into music, so I've abandoned almost every artist I've ever listened to. The only people I've stuck with over the decades are Madonna and Fiona Apple, though in the latter's case it's pretty easy to buy an album once every 7 years.

Duante, based on your comments every week it's obvious this show can do no wrong in your eyes. This episode was a waste of a classic comic book character.

Blah. I'd expect a Mr. Mxyzptlk episode to be a blast of pure fun, but this show insists on getting bogged down in boring love plots. Kara and Mon-El? Boring. Winn and Alien Girl? Boring. Alex and Cop Lady? The most boring. At least Mxyzptlk himself was enjoyably annoying, but using him to cause a rift between Kara

For all the shit Dreamworks (rightfully) gets, the How To Train Your Dragon movies are beautiful and spectacular.

I don't think anybody is watching this tedious show anymore, but I do still check out the reviews since they're slightly more entertaining.
