ok you probably didn’t play much if that is your understanding. Playing 5th grade pee wee tackle doesn’t make you an expert

#learntocode.... football is relatively safe at most levels. NFL players are the exception of course, they are extremely fast and extremely large guys. The physics of the collisions are completely different. A collision between two 16 year olds who run 5.5 40s and weigh 160 pounds is not even remotely close to the car

That debate isn’t even the debate. It’s more on the margins of whether people need counseling or gender confirmation procedures (which hits close to home as I have a trans kid) or how things get rationed.

No, they don’t. 90% of people are struggling to make ends meet, there’s million of free resources and activities. Try youtube or the football team.

Everyone is buying stuff like this during the pandemic. My brother in law is on a 9 month wait list to get some type of jet ski. The economy is so weird right now.

My dad did this when I was about 12 and 20 years later it is one of the memories/lessons that will always stick with me about dealing with people/transactions.

I negotiated the waiving of a ton of fees, including document fees when we bought our last car because they made a mistake on the price in the paper work that would have cost me an extra $1000 (32 instead of 33k price) and I got really loud/accusing them of fraud in so that other customers could hear me. It was

they were only illegal because of Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (AKA paid shills for the insurance lobby) got them banned. I’m not that old, my parents would always get to go margaritas in the 90s. They really hurt a lot of bars and carry outs.

My sister caught it working at a restaurant and our holidays were a super spreader event that put two in the hospital. I didn’t take it super seriously personally but did most of the safety measures out of respect to everyone else (i did walk my dog after curfew most days because he needs to go at low traffic times

I’ve tried to explain this to my life partner and in laws so many times. They all make about 5x what I make but I swear they can’t understand the most simple math concepts.

no clue but I read that compounds in it and certain green veggies are culprits for bad BO

Grilled wings with butter are a game changer. They don’t even need sauce.

Smoking a ton of dope and eating a lot of veggies always made my body odor unbearable after about a day without showering. Ever since I got clean and started eating meat, I think I smell a lot better at the end of the day or after working out. I don’t know if others noticed this or not.

I didn’t believe him for two years because he joked about stuff like that all the time. Went to his parent’s house for his grad party and he confirmed with an old yearbook.

Let’s not forget about all of the names that people don’t feel comfortable using anymore because of negative association attached to it. I’m sure there’s tons of Adolphs that changed it. My best in grad school’s name was Osama and he basically went through hell after 9/11 and got it legally changed the day he turned

I was just thinking there’s a ton of examples of this in my life. My neighbors are Japanese, I’ve known them for 3 years and just call them shortened versions. Yes, your name and it’s proper pronunciation is important but if someone is really trying, it is ableist imo to be mad that they can’t pronounce it correctly.

Podcaster Keya Roy, who co-hosts RadioActive Youth Media, said, “interrupting someone to say, ‘It’s Keya, not Keeya,’ isn’t me being irritating, it’s me putting my foot down against a vehicle of racism, and then in turn, creating an environment in which owning your name is the norm, not the exception.”

That is really interesting information! And here I thought that I liked bitter because I was a psychopath. I’ve drank cold (room temp no ice) coffee and dark chocolate since I was a kid. We did a science experiment in junior high about the ability to taste bitter though and I scored one of the lowest out of almost 200

I saw in the comments that people said they liked the peels. I always eat them myself when others make them sweet potatoes but I am a huge fan of bitter paired with salt. I read that combo was the least enjoyable flavor combo for Americans so I was surprised that so many enjoyed them.

It was right around the time he said that. I was obsessed with Ahmadinejad for awhile. I was taking an international relations class right when he started making a lot of waves and he was just the most interesting person on the world stage at that moment. I didn’t necessarily like or agree with him but it seemed like
