As someone who drove that gen impala for several years they are absolute pieces of shit and represent everything that was wrong with GM at the time.

In my province, basic insurance will not cover you if you are at fault. You need additional coverage for that. And even then, it’ll only cover repairs to your own vehicle. If you hit an audi with your civic, and youre determined to be 50% at fault, they’ll pay for 50% of the damage to your civic, but 50% of the damage…
