One time when I was outside of a Cheesecake Factory smoking a cigarette a man propositioned me thinking I was a hooker.

I assumed she was trying to imitate this woman:

You know what I wanna know, is what was the purpose of this anyway? Is it like how other young women home alone on a Saturday will experiment with trying to do a cat eye, or overdrawing the lip line a little, maybe false lashes and mixing up exactly the right foundation color, then eventually wind up in a face mask?

My problem is her saying that she wished she looked like that all the time. I interpreted that as, “I wish my skin was darker”, hence why people are accusing her of using blackface. I don’t necessarily think that whoever styled her intended for her to look black, but she’s definitely been trying to imitate a black…
