Yeah definitely no way to settle a matter of opinion. In any event, I was talking more about the audio engineering and the overall sonic landscape of the record, which had less to do with songwriting per se and more to do with Flood and Alan Moulder, using 70 guitar tracks on a song etc.

I think the entire double album is freaking fantastic. I mean, it's layers upon layers of studio dress-up work, but the sonic product is top notch. Everything after that, including Adore is pretty much crap, though.
