My democrat-living-in-the-south reaction: YEP.

I learned today that the reason a lot of doctors won't insert them into women without children is that our uterus/cervix has never been dilated and therefore much smaller than women post-childbirth. This makes it more difficult and risky for insertion, as well as more painful for us.

While this obviously excites me (seeing as how my birth control went up from $5 to $75/month thanks to a new insurance plan), I'm still confused on the scope of this. Will all birth control options be considered, or just generic forms? Will IUD's count as birth control, or is that more of a procedure?

As a new resident of Georgia - transplanted from Boston of all places - the politics here are really hard for me to swallow. I agree completely, but I would take out the "I'm sorry" part. I am NOT sorry for thinking that a person has a moral obligation to continue reporting rape until something is done about it.

There's a state representative in Georgia who submitted a bill that would make it a felony for a woman to have a miscarriage unless she could PROVE it was from natural causes. Luckily he's a nutcase and the bill was thrown out, but good grief.

I went to high school with this kid and may or may not have kissed him in the 10th grade (I'm much wiser nowadays) and I can assure you, these children did not have a distressing childhood. They're just assholes.
