She seems to be one of like, 5 people in Congress who is having an appropriate reaction to what is going on right now. (The appropriate reaction being, of course: “WTF is this bullshit?”)

This is driving me crazy. As a former (low level) intel analyst seeing how Trump is acting towards the intel community hurts me. Is there flawed intelligence? Absolutely. That is why any analyst worth anything will pepper briefs and papers with terms like approximately, in vicinity of, assessed and various levels of

I’d appreciate it if someone would investigate the FBI please.

Plus the inability to take the long view on international security - by fostering positive international relations first.

I had to read it twice, but I’m pretty sure he’s saying that, as an Independent, he both supports the troops AND universal healthcare, which is “illegal” in this country, because you to either be a conservative or a liberal and moderates like him don’t exist.

But...“You have to be okay with being led by women.”

Maybe I shouldn’t disagree with this hypothesis, seeing as how I know next to nothing about the early stages of Alzheimer’s, but I really don’t think it’s dementia. I genuinely believe this is what it looks like when a 70-year-old man has never attempted to seriously educate himself, does not read anything

And the thing that kills me is that it widens the gap between media and public when we (and I say this as a member of both) need verifiable, credible news more than ever now.

Speaking as a member of the traditional media/journalism world: we are fucking PISSED.

I made this the other night because fuck this guy

He has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old

Nothing witty, I just hope he fucking dies.

The greatest trick Republicans have pulled is convincing people that they’re the party of big, strong, manly things. I know guys who have pretty left-leaning beliefs, but vote Republican because “the left are a bunch of pussies.”

Dude, it’s called the “Women’s March on Washington.” I didn’t even know men were invited. I hadn’t checked the Facebook group. I’m supportive of women’s issues, but I’m also aware that men getting involved with women’s groups, without being explicitly invited, is often seen (justifiably) as butting in.

WHY WOULD SENSUALITY EVER BE USED TO DESCRIBE A PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION THAT’S NOT A THING EVEN WHEN WE AREN’T SWEARING IN THE GROSSEST MAN ALIVE.

Ok this got longer than I expected, and took over an hour but here we go.

I am amongst the last to be critical of a writer here. On the one hand I have too much invested (much like with my dysfunctional family I don’t like airing grievances publicly) and on the other, not enough (it’s just a website/blog). But this article was extremely disappointing. I don’t expect nor want an echo chamber

It’s not the person who wrote the NYTimes article, it is Hannah who doesn’t understand the NYTimes reporting or what an intelligence analysis is. She’s using a follow up article about Russia’s response as the basis for this garbage. The NYTimes has a whole collection of articles on the intelligence report and this

As it’s been reported, the publicly released version of the Intelligence community’s report on the election doesn’t include any info that could jeopardize sources and cyber trails. But the top secret version has them.

But the declassified report contained no information about how the agencies had collected their data
