Wow, your arguments have really run the gamut. First, no there's not really an issue here because the industry overall saw a 14% earnings drop for execs. That didn't fly. Then, well, he's not a real employee, he's just a consultant. Nope, the comparison of their relative earnings was based on his CEO earnings, not

It's because we ladies just aren't as good at business stuff as men. It's all those numbers. Math and our tiny women brains go together like cocaine and waffles, amirite?

Christ, did you even read this article? They compared her incoming CEO pay to his CEO pay from 2012. He's just an advisor now and WILL STILL make more than she's making as CEO.

Oh I'm so sorry. Let me spell it out in simpler terms.

Do you think he got a muffin basket tho?

She isn't, because it says in the article that the former CEO, who is being kept as a senior adviser, is paid more than she is.

RTFA.

This is Marceline. She's also very chatty and very much a people cat, who will follow you from room to room. In addition to conventional meowing, she likes to make little chirps and "brrrr" noises — she's very expressive. It probably doesn't help that we talk back.

Interesting that 14 percent pay cut didn't affect GM's newest consultant aka their old CEO Akerson tho.

MRAs lying? What's next, water is wet? The sky is blue? What, weirdwoodtreehugger? What?

Don't worry; they'll show up soon to explain it to you.

I thought the wage gap wasn't real. That's what our helpful MRA visitors always tell us. They wouldn't lie, would they?

It's obvious that she is just worth less and probably has less education than her predecessor. We need to talk about how women don't need special accommodations and need to earn their keep just like men have been doing in business since the turn of the century. Women need to be as motivated and driven as men in order

Kind of, when the only ones being curbed are women's. Yes.

Allow me to point out that glorious study featured in Lean In.

Mine doesn't drool but talks like a maniac. I talk back.

Awww. I have a kitty who drools when he's in a purring frenzy. It's endearing if a little damp.

Now playing

I call BS - there were no love bites (aggressive or polite) in that video, so...

I'm glad I'm not the only owner of a drooling cat.

Well, there you are. You work in fashion. Not only is it very visual, but it also tends to praise hyper-stylized forms of beauty. BTW, I lived in Paris four years, but as an academic, and I can definitely tell you it has to do with the circles you run in - age makes a difference, too :-)

I'm 27 and I think most of them are pretty darn attractive. I think the harsh lighting and little/no makeup or filters plus random poses aren't what we're used to seeing. But I don't see how most of them could be considered unattractive, maybe not a specific persons "type", but still conventionally attractive.
