Exactly my take, it’s so much easier to cancel a streaming service than go through the hassle of getting a new card. I cancel/renew mine frequently depending on when shows I actually want to watch drop.

Yea this seems to me like more of a convenience than a hinderance. But if I had to guess, this article is implying a lot of people just don’t cancel services they don’t use and just pay them for years until a credit card expires, assuming the charges stop coming when that happens. If thats the case, thats moronic.

Just my 2 cents here, but for something like netflix, it kinda boggles me that you would go through getting a new credit card number or canceling your old credit card to cancel it. It hasn’t been that hard to stop service for me. It’s great to know this system exists and is how the cards can get updated without

crypto, is - in fact - a big ponzi scheme. the academic origins aside, its only practical use is to launder money, or defraud people.

Prove it. Good luck.

Ponzi Scheme- A Ponzi scheme is a form of fraud that lures investors and pays profits to earlier investors with funds from more recent investors.

Fuck off and buy some #fartcoin or whatever. No one gives a shit that weird “libertarians” can’t face reality.

Cryptocurrency is inherently a Ponzi scheme that powerful and connected people use to extract wealth from people who chuck in their few hundred dollars on a lottery ticket, hoping to get rich. But the game is rigged against them, and the house always wins. Except when you’re a fucking idiot casino manager. Former

Tell us you’re a gullible idiot without saying you’re a gullible idiot.

Both the crypto and NFT industries are scams waiting to collapse as they rightly should, and I am unashamedly enjoying watching every ship of fools burn as it founders.

The perfect response. Also, great article. A lot here that I wasn’t aware of.

Found a crypto sucker

Hi, I am totally real journalist and I am doing a journalism on journalism. How much money do you have invested in Crypto or other assets that only have value because of the power of imagination?

Exactly! Prove these non-believers wrong by buying all my crypto!

lol. lmao.

I think it’s entirely valid. Cryptocurrency has fictional backing and can only be profitable if you can find another sucker — uh, buyer — for your fictional property.

It’s not that it’s news, it’s that someone took the time to actually research it and prove it to be true.

Nah, but it’s useful ammunition in our many attempts at getting shit done.

You sure you meant that for me or that you read my comment?

already murdered the first ones, or just adding to the list...?
