But so is the obvious appropriation of Broaddrick’s story by right-wing conservatives who ordinarily go out of their way to discredit rape survivors.

What can we say? The intimidation story is the only part of this that accuses the actual Presidential candidate of doing anything, and it is pretty subjective even if true.

But in the wider world there are plenty of people who advocate for imprisonment and even killing of people who are pedophiles regardless of whether or not they ever act on that attraction. There are certainly a small subset of entitled, evil people out there, but I do not believe there is a huge push from they pedophile community for decriminalization of child molestation.
