I was going to make a comment about it not being cold in Louisiana, but yes, relative to fall it is. The 85 degrees of today is no match for the 95 of late September, so I guess this story checks out.
I head straight for the middle-aged female cashier because they’re he only ones in my local store who won’t put my raw chicken directly on top of my loaf of bread.
My boss is having a party for all her employees. She’s super excited about it. :-/
Uses a lot more paper though.
You change lanes when it’s safe to do so, though. Not the second someone comes up behind you no matter what. A lot of left lane folks don’t wanna wait the three to five seconds it sometimes takes for the car in front of them to get into a spot where they can even fit into the right lane.
I’m imagining, from the scenario Eric set up, an actual line of 10 mph cars. I’m assuming he’s actively passing them and there’s not what he would consider enough safe space between any of them. In that scenario, the car moving into the right lane, whether they were going 15 or 20 mph in the left lane, is going 10 mph…
The sheer number of times I’ve had to brake to avoid hitting one of the maniacs moving over into my right lane way too soon is awful. I appreciate Eric following safe passing distance. A LOT of people think they’re driving safe enough because they don’t even notice everyone around them constantly adjusting to the…
He said he’s passing cars which are going 10 mph in that scenario. So should he slow down by 5 mph and merge into a lane full of cars going slower than him or should Mr. 20 mph slow down by the exact same 5 mph and chill out behind him while they pass the 10 mph cars? Is there even really a right answer there? Why?
