Oooh, Ess-A-Bagel. I'm now officially homesick.

Really, like pizza, its what you had as a child that you gravitate to. While, I love the bagels from Montreal, I'm a die-hard NYC bagel person.
The local one in PA did. We took great advantage of that in the early 1980s
Its a great Kubrick film, but honestly, King's books are so cerebral it's difficult to express them in a visual way.
Honestly, the Holocaust Museum is a 4 min drive from the White House. Maybe time to take the gang on a field trip?
However, Indian buffets are usually pretty damn delicious if you get there early.
Pizza hut brings back memories of college and the only place in a PA town that was not a dive bar that would serve beer to underage students. However, having grown up in NJ, the pizza always tasted wrong, like a step away from the french bread pizza monstrosities of school lunches.
I spent most of the weekend doing home repairs and what my mom used to call, putzing about the house. But I did get some time with the bass guitar and managed to learn a nice bass line to Beck's O Maria.
And avoid the acoustic version at all costs. Why "Acoustic Storm" (the syndicated Sunday radio series) seems to be fixated with this version is incomprehensible to me.
As soon as I have some extra cash, its going to this effort. Poly Styrene, Viv Albertine, Pauline Black and Souxsie Sioux were such heroes for me in my teen years, where I felt like I didn't fit in anywhere.
I like Donnie Darko as a film, though its one of those films like 2001, that either resonates or confuses. Its one of my son's favorite films: he has a tattoo of Frank on his arm.
I picked up a bottle of this on Saturday's shopping trip; I may have to go back now a grab a couple more. My only complaint about my local TJs is that they stock too many IPAs. I like IPAs but a girl likes to have some variety as well.
Its about the only kriek I'll drink. My better half likes Kriek's and loved Delerium red when went to Brussels. I'm just not a fan of really fruit forward beers. :/
I can remember being really upset about moving to "Afternoon" Kindergarten because it meant I couldn't watch Captain Kangaroo :(
The 4:30 movie. Where you could watch the Ten Commandments over 5 days!
Because you know "Marshmallows are funny". https://www.youtube.com/wat…. Yeah spent many a weekend watching Wonderama.
At work, we say yeah you're having a bad day—but you could be having a bad day in Fresno. (or Turlock depending on how bad the day is..)
I'd actually move to SoCal to vote for Uncle George. And that's saying alot.
Oh thanks, now I have an earworm of that in my head. :(
Yes, Robyn Hitchcock. And Gorillaz. I think April sounds just fine.
