It’s the appropriate protocol. You run if you can. If you can’t run, you hide. If you can’t run or hide, fight.

I’m seeing some criticism of the fight part of the message. It’s a list of priorities. Run if you can, hide if you can’t, and fight if you’re found. The truth is that if an active shooter finds you and you don’t fight you’ll die anyway. It doesn’t mean to proactively go out and play Yosemite Sam trying to hunt down…

If you can’t run, and you can’t hide, you have no other recourse. Historically, there are no hostages in these situations.

I have HAD a kid and it wasn’t as remotely as painful as the IUD. (To be fair I had a super easy birth - less than 20 minutes of active labor.)
