I think we know that Ted ISN’T trying his best. His wife has said he’s almost never around and the kids run from him when he gets home. That’s not someone trying their best at parenting.

Yeah it’s one of those things where it’s a reasonable discussion to have, and even people who generally seem to fit into the ideal (especially women) still struggle with... but a young, relatively thin, attractive person is never really going to be the one who should be leading that conversation.

That’s been my complaint from the start. Warner keeps trying to start with Infinity War/Endgame, as though having a bunch of heroes is the reason it made so much money, completely ignoring the investments of each character to get to that point.

How are movies this expensive to make? 600,000,000 to break even is an absolutely insane number. The world is literally the same whether or not this movie exists.

I think it is more that DC has failed to emulate the correct parts of the model.

I have to wonder if “Black Adam” is a warning sign for  “Avatar: Way of the Water.” It my understanding that James Cameron’s epic has to bring in $1B just to break even.
