Big difference being that the Klingon they used in Discovery sounded like gutteral nonsense and was hard to follow. Japanese with subtitles has been done in entertainment for decades. I really doubt it is going to be alien for Westworld watchers to see Japanese with subtitles nor do I think it will be that big of an

I wasn’t that it was just a bad episode?

No it doesn’t. Fat Tony is a caricature of how media portrays Italian-Americans as mobsters, not a dig at Italian-Americans themselves.

I love the Simpsons but I still have to say that the racism surrounding Apu was always there, it’s just that nowadays we’re finally calling this type of stuff out more. You don’t get a free pass just because it’s from a time that people cared less.

One, I didn’t say I was offended.

Maybe if your show’s been on so long that one of your first characters is now a modern version of Mickey Rooney in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, you should just make something new.

unfortunately it was the games developer 6 months after the fact

“Simply being aware that they are available for purchase reduces the immersion in the world and takes away from the challenge of building your personal army and your fortresses.”

What data are you basing “complete success,” and “saved an entire franchise” on? You can’t just make shit up to create a valid argument.

To argue it “saved” the franchise you have two problems,

TFA: 2.066 billion dollars

Yeah didn’t you notice how much more money it made than the tired old cliche Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens.

Yeah, but it was us old fans who kept the franchise alive for the new ones during the 80’s and 90’s when no one else was into it. People seem to have no appreciation for that.

It was only a success because you can stick a two hour movie with nothing but a turd in it, and label it star wars and people would watch it. But in terms of drop off, merchandise sales, and every other metric, it was an abysmal failure.

“complete success” is your opinion, not a fact

As Peemo Peemo said, the recent stockholders meeting was apparently VERY interesting from those I know who were there.

The Force Awakens box office: $2 billion

Stockholders disagree

Really?! The man who made the most polarizing Star Wars film ever, that angered many old fans (myself included) understands what Star Wars needs to do to survive?
