The very sexist systems we live in value a woman's (and a child's) life over a man's life. Claiming otherwise flies in the face of much scholarship of the issue. This is part of the larger problem.

There's the real point: Instead of fermenting conflict over our very limited train personal space, perhaps we could accommodate everyone and provide seats that actually fit a human being over the age of 11 while running more trains.
