Right now, I’m thinking the door has probably opened wide in front of Warren if she can walk through it.

The point remains though, that the Republican party has now set a frightening new standard for the powers of the presidency.
I think there are some specific criticisms being floated that are asserting that the only thing Barnes & Nobles did was this, or that it was the center of their Black History month marketing drive, when I’m not sure that’s a reasonable characterization of their efforts.
Ehhh, there are definitely things you should age out of. Not real hobbies, but rather certain kinds of lifestyle choices.
We have 3 kids and have one of each. My wife drives the minivan, I have the 3 row CUV, and yeah I agree it’s much more enjoyable to drive.
Oh God you’re right. How many times do you think he’s pressed and released that pedal, driving a million miles in Chicago?
But there’s an arc there that changes. Once your kids get out of the diapers and forks in outlets stage, you get back a bit more free time.
A couple of the larger versions can sort of compete in the quality of the 3rd row seating with a minivan, but those models tend to be more expensive and get worse gas mileage than a similarly appointed minivan while not being meaningful more athletic.
Not correct at all. My basis for saying this is that in my family we have one of each (in order to be able to accommodate 3 kids in both our vehicles) and the minivan is by far and away a superior vehicle for hauling kids. Even a bigger 3 row unibody is way more inconvenient for hauling kids than a minivan.
While harmless, that could have been easily accomplished by promoting books written by non-white writers, or—more specifically—black writers, given that this is a Black History Month stunt.
J. Lo is such a dumb person to base this discussion around though.
That’s posturing, and that’s not what I’m doing.
And how are we, as the reader, supposed to assess this? Ashley doesn’t want to actually source the Tweet because she’s afraid this woman will get mobbed. That makes me suspect that the Tweet wasn’t actually very popular (otherwise there’s no point to trying to protect this person) and that Ashley went on a fishing…
Not moving the goalposts at all. What I said was that it was “entirely possible neither campaign’s numbers have any bearing on reality at all”. I didn’t say it was certain, but to me, trusting campaigns to be honest about outcomes that they have a vested interest in is a dubious proposition, at best.
What I was referring to specifically in that part of the comment were the journalists and pundits Ashley references throughout her article.
I’m answering Vodka specifically, not cherry picking. I’m happy to talk about those journalists.
SO what you’re saying is that this woman is just some Twitter rando?
I mean you can find a rabid group of tweeters to support **literally** anything.
Nope, definitely know how caucuses work, used to have to participate in them, hence me knowing that they are a process that only a cross-eyed halfwit could think is a good way to vote. There are any number of ways in which the aggregation of caucus vote totals could get telephone’d into gibberish.
You’re far too kind in your assessment of the sincerity of this article.
