No it’s a collagen defect, there are different types. Hypermobility type is most common, but vascular is most severe. People with vascular eds have a very hard time healing, their tissues are very prone to tearing and rupturing.

Yup, so true, surgery of any type is so dangerous for vascular EDS. Some would even argue that a csection is more dangerous than a vaginal delivery, but I'm guessing since she is high risk due to age too, she probably didn't have many options.
I thought this too... It's like she bolted once her daughter left, headed toward TN where the midwifery laws aren't as strict.
Going to the temple is different than going to church on Sundays, it’s considered more sacred. Some people do go once a week, others may go once a year, distance plays a huge part for most people. It’s a big deal to have a temple wedding as the only wedding for a lot of people, but some do a regular civil wedding,…
Ex-mo here, the white thing is because if the temple rules, everyone must wear solid white in the temple.
Me neither!!!! I’m not nice when I am hungry, and eating mostly fruits/veggies does absolutely nothing for me. I need protein, lots of it and grains to feel satisfied, also fat, I get sluggish without fat in my diet. So it’s much easier to just eat like 1800-2000 calories a day and maintain 165-170 than having to eat…
I get what you are trying to say, it’s not hating on someone for wanting to be healthier or lose some pounds, it’s the societal pressure to not weight over 120 lbs, regardless of how tall you are. My sister called me the other day talking about how she signed up for a personal trainer and I thought that was cool! Then…
I agree, it is all dependent on the current relationship and how involved you are in each other's lives.
Yeah, this one !!
Yeah, this one !!
I probably will too, but I sure as hell won't pay for it
Genetics are so funny, I have two friends (twins) who are half japanese, they have medium blonde hair and most people have no clue. Yet, my niece is 1/4 japanese and looks almost completely japanese, she looks just like her mom. In the case of this casting though, it's really f-ed up, is the character even Caucasian…
My sister in law got this bcteria, it is rare, but definitely does happen. She has worked with cats for over 20 years , and was careless a few years ago while trying to catch a ferral cat, it bit her. She was really sick for weeks before anyone figured out why. It’s not a reason to not have a cat, but it’s just one of…
I had this happen once at kings dominion, it was terrifying, I haven't ridden a roller coaster since it happened (16 yrs ago).
Stones are only cast if you are gay, because ya know, family values blah blah blah....
Right?!? This never fails to amaze me, just because they aren’t predators people think they are “safe”. I was nearly attacked by a young doe that gave birth behind my house, she was going crazzzy. I've never jumped back into a car so fast in my life, it was like cujo but with a deer! Never ever underestimate…
These two have kind of grown on my the last year or so, they kind of, sort of, sound grounded now, especially Spencer.
She was a fairly regular shopper at the department store I worked at. I can’t remember the other stories about her, only the gum thing because I witnessed it, but I swear everyone scattered when they saw her come in to the store, except for the new hires lol...
Wow those poor librarians
Yeah, I helped her once, and she wasn’t terrible, but not friendly either. This was sometime between ‘05-’07, so she was getting up there in age, I kind of attributed her attitude to that.
Not me, but Maya Angelou tattled on a retail coworker. She told our boss that said coworker was extremely rude to her because she was talking to her with gum in her mouth. Nothing happened, because hey, isn't bad breath after lunch worse than a little gum?
