@gir: I have t-mobile and got my smart phone but was able to keep my dumb phone plan.

It seems like a lot of the characters have heads that are small in proportion to their bodies.

@kung_fu_jesus: Yea you're right. 13 was extremely melodramatic. It really wasn't helped by the characters' overly exaggerated (and often times highly unnatural) movements.

It's really a case of all the awful touch screen devices making the good ones look bad. A lot of the first i phone competitors had terrible touch interfaces that easily could have soured people to the technology.

If only the kindle itself was as stylish and sleek as these cases for it.

@gebinsk: Yes, but my point was that they made it TOO easy, and then had to change it. So that type of marketing scheme can really only go so far.

@gebinsk: As far as I know that Pay phrase used to be "One click buying". I'm guessing they changed it because people kept accidentally pressing it and buying things they hadn't decided on.

@Snow leopard: Yeah I can totally relate. As a kid the whole process of renting movies on a Friday night was really fun and something I looked forward too all week. With net flix and red box it's definitely not the same feeling.

@dolo54 blows minds and blows engines!: To be honest block buster offered a much better experience years ago than the hole in the wall places I'd been to. They were much more family friendly plus they had games. I don't see how offering more of what people wanted made them the " worst thing to happen to the movie

@mjsd555: If people really wanted to shop at mom and pop video stores they would. There's an " Awesome video" in my neighborhood that has gone strong (despite being a small operation) even with a Block buster and a Hollywood right down the street. The main reason people still go there is because the experience is

@virgil.ierubino: It's really not surprising that they were profitable, especially in the 90's. It was a cheap way to get hours of entertainment and made much more sense than buying a copy of something you just wanted to see once.

@Crippl3: lolumad: Totally agreed with brutal legends. Psyconauts was soo good that .......wow I couldn't believe how quickly I lost interest with that one.

I hate cliche, obnoxious humor almost as much as I hate that stupid kid .

@slotter: very true, and their latest show called " The regular show " (slated to premier in next month) looks promising.

@Maxjes: Seriously. I really do hate that kid.

Wow this idealized rendering is almost enough to make me forget chinas whopping 100,000 traffic deaths per year.

They would have done a lot better not to have given it such a detailed face. Even though it's supposed to be androgynous the tapered waste makes it kinda look like a woman which only adds to the creep factor.

@8thManOnTheMoon: YES exactly. It's because what ever human characteristics they thought would make people feel comfort, produced pure terror instead.

@dtownkid21: Well supposedly they've cut some sort of deal with the film studios to get the movies before red box.
