Lol, too true. Lydia does have growing up, and hopefully, the ability to gain a bit of wisdom along with it. I don't think there was hope for Wickham. It would be nice to think he died early of cirrhosis and Lydia managed to gain control of her own purse strings to capably care for herself.

I would guess he used Twitter because he knew he'd reach a great number of people to whom his words would be relevant. A lot of people like those short bursts of thought coming together in rapid fire mode to form a bigger picture by the end.

Agreed, King was my bright spot in high school. I could bury myself in his novels and not think about what was happening to me, which definitely lends itself to feeling fondness for his work.

Poor Lydia. Short on brain power, easily manipulated, and stuck with someone who didn't even care about her. I always wondered about her character and as she got older would she realize what an awful person Wickham really was.

Well, yes, I think I try to block that memory of Bev and the boys out just because it was so damned skeevy. ): More than anything I was being silly when I posted earlier.

This is why I stuck with Jane Austen and Stephen King in high school. None of that twins fucking one another over business.

Oh jeez, you have my sympathy. Family members can be the worst when they're judgy and in right there front and center to let you know exactly how they feel. That was a good article! I hadn't read it before, and I'm saving it for future reference, thanks!

Yeah, yy default on FB and nearly any other site I use is friends only, but I don't bother filtering people who are on my list. I mean, they're there for a reason. Serious life stuff isn't anything I put on FB anyway. That's just my preference, though I will share photos of my beastly cats, heh.

That's the boat I'm in, as well. I'd rather be unfollowed/unfriended than have to worry with censoring myself.

I stopped hiding, blocking, and prioritizing posts because I realized I was putting far too much effort into online life. Plus, I like people and they like me or we don't like one another. At some point in my life I realized it's okay if someone doesn't like me because heaven knows I don't like everyone else. The

Oh, so nice Mr. Jackass got his wasabi due. Also, jizzy fettuccine, and I'm not sure if I'm going to laugh or feel a little sick to my stomach thinking about that. This has been a good Monday.

The world is a little bit better after having seen this. Happy tears!

If you prefer not to use yogurt since milk has natural sugars that can bother some people and even increase yeast, some doctors will suggest the probiotic capsules as vaginal suppositories. You'll get a higher dose of happy bacteria doing so, according to my ob/gyn, and you may only need to use them once or twice a

Thinking of that tick scene in Antichrist. Going to go cry in a corner.

I love your toddler. You go, little one, quote Jurassic Park and have fun doing it! Seriously, I hope you and your kiddo find what works best for a happy and healthy life!

For me it was a matter of sanity. It was doing what I needed to do to get some sleep because this kid does not like sleep at all. Even now at 16 years old. I didn't know newborn babies could stay awake for eight hour stretches. If he wasn't being held or touched he was screaming-freaking out screaming. Car rides

Attachment parent here, 45 years old, and kiddo has made it to sixteen years. Long and short? You really have to do what fits your family the best, and it may not be extended or on-demand nursing. My son was two and half when he weaned himself. At three and a half he said to me, "Daddy snores. I want my own

We chose co-sleeping and nursing on demand, and yes, some people get really in your face about either method. I've heard some of the other granola mommies (yes, I'm a granola mom but the kind who adds m&m's to the mix) outright hatefully bash people who aren't into attachment parenting. I left an unschooled group

I don't know about that. There's some pretty horrible stuff about stoning the victims and marrying off those who were virgins and unengaged to their rapists. It's kind of ugly and the churchy people I know like to not talk about those parts.

Good, and and hopefully he spends a good long while in prison because that's where serial rapists belong.
