His paternity is... Questionable.
His paternity is... Questionable.
Not at all. He seems like someone who has taken on this cause because of the effects abuse caused on his sister. Also, hearing his interview with Jon Lovett made me feel he has a very boring personal life.
When my husband and I told our department head (we’d originally met at work) that we were giving notice, he sent out the traditional “so and so is going to pursue opportunities at blah blah blah, they’ll be missed” sort of email. Except, he sent one talking in depth about my husband, his impact there, and where he’d…
Part of my job is reviewing and editing written content. I’ve noticed with male bosses, they think everything they write is on par with MLK’s letter from Birmingham jail. Random capitalization, unnecessary commas popping up like groundhogs, incomplete sentences, no paragraph breaks, no main ideas... I’ve seen many…
I think this defense is broadly right—but it still amounts to LeBron saying that the sensitivities of one of the world’s most brutal and repressive regimes should set boundaries on what people in the NBA say in public. Which is fuckin’ gross!
A good time to remember that Colin Kaepernick gave up his job and all the considerable perks that come with it to stand up against injustice, while LeBron James, whose legacy and bank account are both more secure, is unwilling to risk even a small fraction of future earnings to speak on one of the few world issues…
I understand the players are caught between a rock and a hard place. But this has to be one of the most craven capitulations to money I have ever seen by a major athlete. Should have kept quiet. His rationale is bullshit.
Come sit next to me on the bus to Hell...
Seriously?? I don’t mean to sound typical but I haven’t watched TDS much since Stewart left, but I’ve seen enough of Trevor Noah to be disappointed by this as well.
The dominos are clearly starting to fall. The fact that two career State Department employees essentially gave the finger to the White House by deciding to testify is significant. There will be others.
Someone in those twits points out that RUDY IS NOT ADMITTED TO THE DC BAR, i.e., cannot practice in the area. This is going to get wild very quickly.
Rand Paul needs to go back to arguing with his neighbor over landscaping.
I’m aware of how petty and unimportant this is to the subject at hand, but I just hate his fucking hair.
I just image this, but a yellow vehicle, and for pretty much anything he does.
Watch out for that bus, Rudy!
I get what you mean, but the story is that his was particularly notable because it locked the door, and/or because he purposely used it to shut people inside his office with him.
Uh, clearly he had that device to be able to barricade himself away from the many women who were trying to force him to cheat on his ex-wife. Have you no respect for the man’s suffering?
If there were subsequent encounters, I seriously doubt they were truly “consensual.” I think it’s far more likely any subsequent encounters came about through perceived or blatant coercion about what would happen to her career if she didn’t acquiesce.
It’s like arguing men can’t rape their wives. It’s insane.
What about all those other accusations, Matt? “The guy with a door locking device hidden underneath his desk” is not the most credible person to make the “I’m not a creep, she’s the creep!” argument.
