to me, why should it be any different than trademark law?  If you buy a "naked" trademark (meaning you buy the name but not any assets in the company that owned the name), but don't produce anything with the name and someone else with no knowledge of your trademark uses that name then you are SOL and can fuck off…

Season 2 has some pretty amazing episodes as well.

Well luckily that one works!  Deep space homer is the only one on the disc that doesn't, it's weird.  The other screwy disc also only effects the last 2 episodes.

The jockey storyline wasn't even as bad as the "all jockeys are evil elves" reveal.  Though my first low point with the Simpsons was when the biker gang steals Marge and Homer motorcycle sword fights John Goodman's lead biker guy.  Bad episode, stupid gag, and, worst of all, a waste of John Goodman.

so it's not just me.  Season 5 is really the only one I have problems with, I own 1-12 (stopped after 12 b/c it was the last Treehouse I wanted) and don't really have a problem with the others. I'm wondering if there is a replacement policy.

I remember Dixy Fried Chicken being prevlenant as well as Tennessee Fried Chicken.  But it seemed liked every block had a few, usually run by a cantankerous Turkish guy…
