@GhaleonQ:disqus , yeah what the hell is up with that? There was a glut of them back in the 90's and then it started drying up in the early 00's. Nowadays I can't think of one!

Fuck the Lion King game, is all I have to say. That goddamn giraffe level still haunts me. So many colors…so much jumping…
I always found her fairly grating in whatever skit she's in
@avclub-d9773268b3b8a34af17f8cff7aa99c8f:disqus , i think you could stick Vision of Division in right after Hawaii for a pretty good track flow. But if you're intent on 11 tracks, probably cut it, due to it and Ize being over 4 mins. Though really you could get rid of Juicebox instead since it was released as a…
So no Nightwatchman from Morello? I guess RATM hasn't put out a new album but they have toured.
Hmm funny, i've heard so many great things about Casablanca's solo effort and now this…Why must you toy with me A.V. Club!
Tracks 1-6 on first impressions are great, especially "You Only Live Once" and "Razorblade". Also, "Red Light" is great. Lump of crap? Far from it. More like notoriously underrated but also 2 or 3 tracks too long.
@avclub-47f6a2be280bc91e8ae597bdb7dc69fb:disqus , it's good, I agree. But I find it better suited to an EP over an overly long LP because, to me, it's them experimenting more and overall not a proper fit for the album. One of my favorites of the Strokes is the I'll Try Anything Once demo from an EP. Though I still…
@avclub-72085404bc24959bbd79392bc8ad27d0:disqus hence the joke…
I like Ize as well, but I think it just fit better on an EP because First Impressions seems over stuffed.
@ShrikeTheAvatar:disqus , yes that is exactly why because before I had no idea they existed. Therefore, they did not annoy me.
I'll have to go with Revolucion because Donde isn't fully available in the U.S., boo.
@avclub-c9be0674ead9b2448c14d31c64f2b01b:disqus , I would but I am so caught up in the post-funk new reggae slowcore that's going on right now in some basement in Austin.
More like Ben Gay, because of my bad joints.
The Life Sux EP was great too.
I heard some band describe themselves as "post-wave". I did not listen to them.
they were independent….until they got signed to a label.
any albums to recommend?
Oxford Collapse? I'll check them out. Also Wavves seems to be included in this category and they just got reviewed!
Really I always heard more My Bloody Valentine with Yuck over Superchunk. But I still really like them, even though a lot around here claim not to because they are "ripping off" a sound. Why do you people want that sound to not be incorporated to new music, don't you like it?!
