I’m with you. I would literally never blame anyone else for their rape, but I still very much assign blame to myself for mine. If I had done one little thing differently, maybe it wouldn’t have happened.

Thank you!

I believe that abuse can and is perpetuated by both men and women, and I certainly don’t mean to minimize abuse against men. That being said, this is an instance where the abuse is well documented by the man against the woman, and his financial control over her continues. I choose not to financially support public

I’m so sorry that you had to go through such a trying experience. Know that there are platforms where you can share your experience and be heard. I know that it is scary and uncomfortable and there will be many people that discredit you but there will also be those that support you unquestioningly. I have also just

But he still gets the financial benefits from the franchise. Why should we be asked to support him? Especially when JK Rowling is a vocal advocate against the abuse of power and misogyny.

Me too! I had my problems with the plot at that point in the movie but overall I think I would have really liked it if he hadn’t been included.

It was so unexpected and I totally missed any advertising that included him! Never mind that that character’s inclusion was a little convoluted, Johnny Depp playing that character made it all the worse.

Can we all organize and write to JK Rowling to stop supporting Johnny Depp?! He should not be featured in the HP universe! For those that don’t know he had an unadvertised cameo in Fantastic Beasts, which will likely last through the next 4 movies. I know I wouldn’t have seen the movie if I had known he was in it, and

I feel really beat down today. It’s made me think a lot about my own experience in being assaulted. A male white doctor assaulted me after he convinced my mother it would be best if she stepped out of the room. I was 12, I was assaulted with my mother one room away from me. It took me 14 years to tell my mom what

This I totally agree with! Education first, prison as an absolute last resort. I think a lot of people see this as something easily cleaned up and a minor crime but there is a ton of work that goes into the reversal of this.

I get that sentiment a lot;however, i am an art conservator and I saw first hand how her paintings effected the national parks. It isn’t as simple as “make her clean it up”. The clean up has to be done in an ethical way which ensures that the environment she negatively effected isn't further effected. This is an
