i’ve lost 34 pounds by counting calories on myfitnesspal. i try not to worry about what’s healthy/what’s not. i can eat more food if i have things with less calories (ie lean protein and veggies and stuff)

It certainly was dark. Of course the novel keeps the suspense going for much longer (I mean about how crazy the old bat really is), in the film you notice pretty quickly that something is off, due to the medium. But the Dame was so great in it, and to me it felt like she added an extra layer, the taboo of loneliness.…

I have not read the book. I loved the movie because it’s Dench and Blanchett (Denchett!) acting the shit out of it. It’s worth seeing just for two tremendous performances. As a film, it’s not perfect. But I think it’s essential if you’re a fan of either of them.
