Doh. Of course some rock band would refer to it lol.

honestly I wasn't worried until I mistook satire (I do not follow specific writers on AVclub or know what they write) for information. I'm back to calm now. ;) There are very few things that make me "freak out immediately" changing Chewie's age would be one of them.
lool
you are quite right.
I still blame the Simpsons for Trump so I don't like to talk about them anymore.
without insufferable douchebags I wonder how much amazing creative work we'd get. I mean I tend to think insufferable when I think of anyone skilled, and I tend to think douchebag when I think of any creative (including myself). So…
Yup, as I said he just over estimated his power… and when he crossed the wrong person he got fired. It sucks since it seems like he truly cared.
the fuck you on about? Again your reading comprehension SUCKS. I never said he was in the wrong? I said how it appeared to Disney. Seriously dude I'm done with you. Stop stalking me.
Did you misread what I said? I didn't say they didn't care. I said they didn't care MORE. I also did not say they care less.
Sounds like over the years he came to believe he was Kermit, and figured he had a right to interject his opinion. Which would make sense except he was never the face of Kermit and didn't realize that if he pissed people off he'd quickly get removed because of a lack of familiarity. I think it sounds like bullshit but…
I've since been informed that this AV writer is quite satirical and there is no independent confirmation that he is actually young.
thanks Dan for this pointless exercise in futility, because we all know they solved our worldwide environmental crisis.
Do these writers have fanbases? really? I don't much pay attention to that to be honest.
Do you know why films often go untitled? They do in house testing for name branding (see what sells), or because of disputes between director/producer, or between director studio, or between directors and the writers, or because of legal issues. Production for well over a year before filming is usually a GOOD sign…
that is a problem with Matrix 2/3. They needed to create some sort of reason for Neo to not be as powerful, because the threat towards him just didn't feel real in Matrix 2 (or Trinity even) and in the third one… well.. lets not mention that shall we? I think Matrix 2/3 should have been purely about Morpheus and…
A lot of people are worried because of changes in directors, etc…
Actually that is a good question. Maybe he isn't at all and we are just reaching because of what Sean said? The official canon still has him as being born 180 years before… this was the first I had heard of it. Could also be us reading young and not seeing Sean is just making a joke?
Yes and no because his specific age is never mentioned in any of the movies, just the script and books. So in ROTS he's like 180 or something. I forget the year discrepancy. What was important was how the age affected his relationship/chemistry with Han Solo. Being that he his temperament was almost that of an…
cough… lots of films are made in under a year. Filmmaking varies intensely. If their pre-production is done, it wont affect the quality at all. Disney, as much as I dislike some of their changes for monetary reasons, has a good track record with making sure their projects are produced with quality as a primary concern.
Chewie was 200 in the script and in the expanded universe, George always had him as an old wookie but since it was never mentioned… Chewie is whatever Disney thinks sells more toys. Can't sell as many Chewie toys if this toy looks like the ones from the 80s.
