Chewie's age was not only part of the Extended universe, but was also part of the script etc… just didn't make it into the movie so Disney seems to think its okay they just rip that part of the character away.

That is not why I have a bad feeling (I have character concerns). Still amazed people on AVclub comment so much but don't seem to know the history of film making in the slightest. You can make a good film in under a year. It really depends on a variety of factors. This shouldn't be your primary concern with this film.

hard to tell, he was an old respected warrior of his culture… and yet this movie has made him a teenager? its actually a huge WTF to the character. Part of the attraction about Han and Chewie's relationship was Chewie was this wise, old dude who mentored Han and was a check on Han's feistyness. Learning they've just

back then he was pretty young, only some 200 odd years old =( (it was canon when the film came out, but has retroactively been uncanonized) edit- this uncanonization may just be the AVclub writer's mistake. Not sure. More research required. Someone else do it! I'm busy hah.

Another one of the changes from the old canon that I don't like. A young chewbacca? eh… I always liked the idea of Han monkeying around with this several hundred year old hairy beast.

I'm not so young as to not remember it. It was ugly then, and ugly now. Plus, its not like we cared more about the environment then. But as someone else corrected me, its not even real wood… so if people like ugly… then I suppose buy it if it suits you.

Oh man… in the books there are three Greyjoys of NOTE, followed by three lesser Greyjoys. Starting with the lesser you have the priest- who is a Drowned Man and is the one who crowns Euron after the moot… his name escapes me. Then you have the old fuck, whose name also escapes me at the moment - Theon's father, who is

okay, it's just ugly? never mind then… buy away if you like ugly things!

Wood paneled? I mean that alone has me not interested… I'm serious. Not just for the environmental issues (how many trees are they cutting down for a video game console?) but because of the actual performance. Anyone ever played with wood-paneled video game machines before? With the amount of chemicals they will use

I know that, I may not have been clear enough in my typing - so many comments, so little time! Though I did find her speech hypocritical because of that too. She goes on about not leaving one Stark alive and leaves at least many many many Freys. lol

He's mentioned rarely before his appearance (because of the nature of his crimes against his family), but when he shows up its like a storm out of nowhere.

I mean what is with his twenty four o'clock shadow … all day long.

Don't use comedy? are you insane? fuck that noise. I'll use comedy ALL I want. Especially comedy that is about the truth and based purely in facts. he uses comedy to explain extremely difficult/complex/boring topics to people. I think comedy can be used to great effect. Saying not to use comedy is basically going

steal away man. Words are words and meant to be used.

fair enough. I mean… its Westeros I don't think GRRM had Hillary (or for god's sake Trump) in mind when he created this.

Did I say I had a problem with it? :) I'm commenting on the review commenting on it. Plus, most people do see of a similar height when sitting down.

Grrm is reading this comment, and promptly kills Arya just to fuck with us all. In the first chapter of the next book.

yuuppp just what I was thinking.

Sounds like you just don't like Jon as you've said. I've pretty much made my case. peace. The musical cues are for us… not the other characters…

If the show wanted us to believe his speeches were inspiring he wouldn't need everyone else to convince the others… every… single… time. From Sam, to a wildling, to a pre-teen female lord, to his sister, to a bloody (now dead) giant. *also not biting on that fighting dirty comment because… seriously now.*
