what’s sad this is clump of SJW cancer cells that considers himself an author physically infested Japan. I’m sure they’re just as eager to boot the gaijin like America is eager to boot Carlos Maza.
You have a very misguided world view if you think that an issue like this would be a half thought let along a topic of discussion in more than a small pile of countries.
1.) Is it whitewashing if you’re made Asian?
Bea is absolutely tan. From her life style to the town she lives in the games. Also this is Japan. They don’t know or care about any this.
Non-Japanese fans of Japanese game: We are mad that a character from said Japanese game appears a slightly different shade of color in Japanese cartoon series based on same Japanese game!
As much as I prefer the original formats, I do buy digital versions of legacy games when I can just for the sake of convenience.
But all of my Genesis boxes that were cardboard have fallen apart over the years and needed to be replaced with plastic ones anyway.
Yes, this.
I’m all for being eco-friendly, but hell naw. I’ve gotten blurays in packaging like this—The Firefly box set comes to mind—and sometimes the shit just comes unglued and falls apart. How about instead we start making the disc cases out of bioplastics like PLA?
I remember having paper containers for my original physical case of Baldur’s Gate I. It really wasn’t a great container, as some of the slits holding the CD’s eventually tore and the CD’s were able to fall right out. I could swear they also tore the CD’s up more than plastic containers did.
Ew, no.
I’m a big reduce/reuse/recycle kind of person, but as far as game cases - do people really throw these out? I’ve never done it. I’m surprised that this is at all a noticeable contributor to the garbage problem.
I keep 90% of my games (forever) tho, and the ones I don’t, I sell or give to friends.
That’s fine, it just means this game was not for you overall. And that is fine.
I mean, if developers want their games to only be examined and critiqued once they’re totally done, they’re free to wait until said game is totally done to release it.
I’m the opposite. I vastly prefer physical above all else... but definitely when I’m unsure about a game. A physical copy can easily become a discount on a better game if I am not happy with it.
My rule is this: any game I’m sure I really want, I buy physical. If there’s a game I’m on the fence about, and it goes on sale (or I want to play that night, and stores are closed), I may grab digital. The bonus to this approach is that sometimes A) one of my physical games will be a free Xbox Gold or PS Plus game…
This is how I feel about books in general, which is why I don’t go to libraries. If I want a book, I buy it, because I will read it like 20x.
Oh, yeah. And some graphic novels could be considered high art. I don’t want to borrow that, I want to own it.
If you have the skills to go ahead and rebind that book after you’re done with it then sure. Whatever. knock your socks off, but for the other 99% of the population Wow. No.
