I just watched the end of TFA and I remember having so much emotion flood over me, even tearing up watching Luke look at his lightsaber. All of TFA faults, that scene was what I needed. I thought to myself, this is Star Wars to me and was waiting the entire movie for a scene like that.

It’s unfortunate it isn’t it? I feel the same exact way. The more time passes I dislike the movie even more. I wouldn’t say a complete disaster, but good lord what a waste of time and plot.

Agree 100%. All that shit leading up to that moment, which just about everyone saw coming, could have been done after the medical ships and support ship were evacuated. Launch the escape pods and set the ship to turn around and jump.

Agree with everything you said. Too many things going on. More than half of all the plots were completely unnecessary and contributed absolutely NOTHING to the film. Finn/Rose/Canto Bight plot didn’t need to happen one bit and was waisted screen time where more important things could have been shown.
