Progression in a game like this should NEVER be tied to RNG. The game basically handles loot like Phantasy Star Online 2 (before New Genesis) does where great drops themselves are basically static, the only difference is upgrades and affixes and whatnot, which can fail, causing you to outright lose stuff you grinded…
