I’m not talking about his record in the sense of being an asshole: I’m talking about things like his dumb trade wars and useless tax cuts that are not making life for the average American better, and in some cases making things far worse for them.

Because Trump essentially ran on being a political outsider and not being burdened with the typical political baggage of voting for ‘bad laws’ and such. Now he’s got a record that he will have to live down, and it sucks for the most part.

Yeah I’m annoyed that I have to wait an extra 6 months to play BL3, but watching these “regulation is bad” internet glibertarians lose their minds over the consequences of unrestricted capitalism is a nice consolation prize.

Biden is basically the non-asshole mirror image of Trump, in the sense that he appeals to old white people who remember The Way America Used To Be™, but in a clueless “everyone used to be nice to each other ☹” sense rather than in an actively malicious “*those* people used to be inferior to me” way.

To add to the point in your second paragraph: I have never played an actual Fire Emblem game and still enjoyed the hell out of Fire Emblem Warriors. So if the gameplay is good and the characters are strong enough to stand on their own, not being familiar with the series isn’t necessarily a problem.
