This is how I felt too. I was expecting to hate it, but it was more bland than anything else. But bland in a way where there’s room for improvement. A couple of good gags with a lot of jokes that fall flat, but it felt like there was at least genuine heart behind it.

Well if it’s not clear in the article, the typical thing to do would be to say something like “are these easy to obtain in-game? If not, I understand where these players are coming from” rather than... well, what you did.

I didn’t miss anything. I said what I said because it was a terrible comparison. Gold in D3 in D3 is trivial; I could go on right now and make 100 million in about 20 minutes, if that long. It was even relatively trivial in D2, which is why SoJs and other items became the default currency for trading.
