You know what's even better? Look at their Android app icon. That totally blew my mind when I got the wallet. :D

Every bank I've been to has let me give them a bunch of change in whatever type of container I stored them in (bottle, Storm Trooper piggy bank, etc.) and they dump it into a machine that counts it.

So in other words, we should work with wind power? :)

None. My OS doesn't have desktop icons (elementary OS) and if I'm using Windows, I remove them all and/or hide them using the built in options.

Right click. There's an option to not show desktop icons at all. In addition, there's an option in the personalization dialog to hide icons like the recycle bin and stuff.

This basically just made me think, "Stick with stock Android." But between the three, I like Motorola the best for sticking the closest to stock. It makes me think that OS updates are going to take a lot less work on their part since they're not changing a whole lot.

It's been superseded by (Pantheon) Files. Files is the official elementary file manager. [launchpad.net]

That's true, I guess it depends on the community and the process you follow for bug reports. I work a lot with elementary OS and many of the bug reporters there are experienced enough to make an effective complaint sandwich. Bug reports are also often used for feature requests, another time the "sandwich" structure

I just have mine sent to, "Sent from my spaceship."

I have a Nexus S and love it's size. My previous phone was 3.5" and I wanted something slightly bigger, but all of the 4.3+" screens are just getting pretty crazy. The nice thing is that by making the bezels and the rest of the front of the device mostly screen, they can be bigger without the phone itself being bigger.

No, but images would have to be redesigned for the new screen resolution/DPI. If they're not, they'll be pixelated and ugly. Apple and iOS apps are known for their meticulous design; they wouldn't just throw that away.

Because that would look terrible. A single virtual pixel would be stretched over multiple physical pixels, making it all blocky. Apple won't do that.

This is actually a pretty good method to follow for filing bugs. Essentially, filing a bug is filing a "complaint" that something is broken.

Seeing as how nobody else has come up with a quality ICS launcher for non-ICS devices, I'd say it's worth it; if it was a simple/easy job to port it, we would have already seen many versions of it from XDA Developers and the like.

In other news, I downloaded an app from the App Storeplace today...

It's not the Android Marketplace. Market. Android Market. market.android.com. There is no "place." There never has been a "place;" it's always been "Android Market." Not "Marketplace."

No, it's like someone buys your Sonic franchise under the false pretense that they're going to make them something "unrelated and noncompeting," then turns around and turns them into McDonalds.

This was the first thing I thought when I saw the invite; that's higher-res!

I came here to say the exact same thing. I didn't know YouTube was a towel vendor now! :D
