Maybe it's different in the UK. In the US the prosecution wins the vast majority of the time.
I've never known a rape trial to end in acquittal (other than high profile ones with celebrities)

One common tactic is to ask what would their mothers think? Another is to try to get them to write out an apology. I watched an FBI agent convince a grieving widower to falsely confess to killing his wife, by shaming him for arguing with her and having "bad" thoughts, etc….

At least they've been going five minutes or so over the hour, unlike in previous seasons. Last year I noticed they sped it up just a little bit. We played it against a recorded ITV version. I noticed it because Hardy's voice was just a bit higher pitched.
