This video is not available in my country. Which is baffling. Amazon Prime Video is, I subscribe and watch Transparent every season, what reason can they possibly have to restrict the trailer?! It's not like someone else can have the rights.

In the books (*SPOILER*) it turns out she chose to go there because he had a brochure for the house he buys with Celeste and it mentioned the name of the town. Also in the books the Spencer Banks (or whatever it was) is the real name of Perry's cousin so they'd assumed it was him, but Celeste recalls Perry talking

I don't think it "sounds like a cover of James’ “Sit Down”", it sounds like the original slowed down. This was a HUGE song at the time I was taking my high school exams but the band seemed to fade out of memory soon after that summer.

This was the best episode in the last 3 seasons at least. The whole style felt different - maybe it was the title card as you mention, but that set it apart from the start and from then on in I was loving it. I honestly don't think I've laughed out loud since maybe season 4 or 5 and this one had me cackling away

Yeah, he specifically refers to plants dying which are vital to the air recycling and it's irreversible, without essentially a full reboot of the system - ie get everyone out of there and start over. On the TV show it looks like they just need to patch up some areas and it can continue. The show also hasn't made clear

I just commented on this then found yours - I think it was the show runner on the Ars podcast. But I literally subscribe to about half a dozen different Expanse shows so it gets confusing o.O

On a podcast recently (I think it was the show runner on the Ars podcast) they mentioned that during the first season they assumed they couldn't swear or have any nudity, then they discovered Syfy updated their rules about what could be broadcast and they had a lot more freedom, which is why she didn't swear last

Phi Phi is going by Jaremi now, his real name. Still doing drag but I think he's killed the phi phi persona due to the negative connections. I genuinely think he felt like he got a bad edit, but he fed it to them. Look at how graceful Alyssa's exit was, if he'd done that, he'd have been loved.

4 is where it started to get amazing. I'd watch them going on from there in order, skipping the first all stars and watching AS2 after s8, the way its been broadcast.

Trace Lysette is great - she's in a few episodes of Blunt Talk, which I wasn't sure about but I'm glad I recently watched. (Weirdly, I'd just finished watching the pilot episode of it again with a friend when I put on the water park episode of Transparent and realised it was the same actress).

You don't have to stick around. Other review websites are available. They focus on the shows that draw regular readers back and generate advertising revenue. They aren't a charity, with contributions from unpaid writers. Sure, it's sad some shows aren't covered anymore but they didn't do it just to piss you off, I'm

Interestingly the only way to watch it in the UK is on Amazon Prime, where they add episodes the day they're shown in the US. Unfortunately unlike Netflix they base your account on where you live rather than the IP address you access it from so you can't watch it unless you sign up for Prime in the UK.

In an early episode Jessica states she can't just kill Kilgrave (ugh that name) because it would result in a load of suicides in the area. (They didn't explain why.) So how did it become for that to be how she beat him in the end? Did I miss a line? (It was definitely one of those shows you can't watch while doing

It wasn't on the tapes - it's what they told Jessica when she first meets them in their hotel room. They explain he's lied about what happened to him - they were trying to save his life as he would be dead by the time he was 12, and then he started gaining his powers.

It's probably relevant to note that the episode reviewed here is listed as being episode 11, but on Sky it is episode 10. I've been confused since the second episode that it is out of sync and I think I've missed one. Last night I doubly confused myself after catching up with 3 weeks worth and then assuming I was done

"I get checks for that one Star Trek appearance, especially since The Next Generation is on heavy rotation on BBC right now" weirdly it hasn't been on the BBC for a very long time. Did he use 'BBC' to mean British TV in general? Though thinking about it, I couldn't even guess which channel might be showing it as I've

They're only releasing them one at a time, same pace as the US (two in the first week, as they showed two there), so it won't help binge, until after it finishes airing, at which point it will be on US Netflix anyways.

I honestly thought Darienne was going to make it through. Throughout the last few episodes she and Courtney have been my least favourite, but this week I felt like we were starting to see a different side to her than the editors had been showing us. Still, all credit to her - isn't top 4 the furthest a plus-sized

That's kinda what I thought, but I wasn't sure - I've never rewound each time one is mentioned. I just know I'd pop a hip if I tried either.
